Subject: SPECIAL BONUS LEAVE FOR SPA EMPLOYEES

 

Date:                October 10, 2002

 

 

The result of the Legislative action for this fiscal year has granted employees special annual bonus leave.  The following provisions are available to employees of the University. 

 

Any employee who is full-time permanent with the University on September 30, 2002, and is eligible for annual/vacation leave shall have a one-time additional ten (10) days of annual bonus leave credited on that date.  The bonus leave will be accounted for separately and will remain available until used, notwithstanding any other limitation of the total number of days of annual/vacation leave that may be carried forward.  Part-time permanent employees and nine or ten month employees will receive a pro rata amount of the ten (10) days.

 

We encourage you to become familiar with these changes that impact the leave of permanent employees. Please reference the attachments:

            Time Sheets – PD-113 and PD-110
