Funding

For renovation, repair and upfit requests, a memo describing the type of work, size of the area, function of the present area, and proposed function of the finished area plus available funding sources should be submitted to the University Engineer's Office. Available funding source(s) should be identified and included in the memo. A copy should be sent to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Facilities. Upon receipt of said information, a project coordinator will contact the requester and schedule a project review meeting.

Projects costing less than $100,000 will be handled as informal projects. Projects exceeding $100,000 are required by the State Construction Office to be handled as formal Capital Improvement projects.

Approval Process

Once the project requirements have been defined and related costs have been determined/estimated and submitted to the user, verification of available funds (budget title and code) is required prior to project scheduling and expediting.
