WINDOW UNITS.

Special permission is required to install a window air conditioning unit. The proposed installation must be surveyed by an engineer from the Physical Plant to determine proper location and size of the unit required. (See Appendix, Request for Air Conditioning Unit) .

Requests for air conditioning systems beyond the scope of window units are sent to the University Director of Physical Plant. Such installations require the preparation of detailed specifications and are forwarded to the Purchasing Department for formal bidding.

Window units are covered by term contracts.
